Rock Creek Recreation Area

The park offers both day-use and extended stay opportunities for visitors. Rock Creek Park offers short hiking trails, scattered picnic tables, a swimming pool, a bike trail and an amphitheater. The park also offers modern camping accommodations in a beautiful cove at the foot of Unaka Mountain.  It contains 36 campsites, some group camping.  Fourteen of the sites have electrical hookups and are suitable for vehicles up to 35′ in length.
